Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Brave & Big ("we," "us") collects when you visit braveandbig.com or sign up for our emails, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

• What you give us when you sign up: your email address and, if you choose, your first name.
• How you found us: which page you signed up on, the link or campaign that brought you (for example, a link in an Instagram bio or a code from a speaking event), the site that referred you, the date, and your country (estimated from your connection, not your exact location).
• Anonymous site analytics: pages viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, and approximate country. Our analytics do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information.

How we use it

• To send you the emails you signed up for: the welcome email, the weekly newsletter, and updates about the show and the #BraveAndBig30 challenge.
• To understand which episodes, links and events bring people to the show, so we can make it better.
• To reply when you write to us.

If you sign up through our coaching page in the future, we will tell you on that page what we collect and who we share it with before you submit anything.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use a few trusted services to run the site and our emails, and they handle your information only to provide those services to us:

• Brevo sends our emails and stores our email list.
• Vercel hosts this website, provides our cookie-free analytics, and keeps a private backup of sign-ups.
• YouTube plays episode videos. The video player only loads when you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once it loads, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To remember how you arrived at the site (for example, the link you clicked), we store a small note in your browser's session storage. It disappears when you close the tab.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete the information we have about you by emailing info@braveandbig.com. We will respond within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your email information while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from our list, except for a record that you unsubscribed so we don't email you again.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will let subscribers know by email.
